True or False. The 22nd amendment limits a person to 2 elected terms. ?

So, can this prevent (B.C) an ex President from running on the ticket as Vice President?True or False. The 22nd amendment limits a person to 2 elected terms. ?
Clinton or Bush Sr could theoretically run as Veep and become President if the President were to die/be impeached/etc. No one can RUN for a 3rd term as President or serve more than 10 years as President (so, Clinton and Bush Sr would only be able to hold the office for 2 more years).True or False. The 22nd amendment limits a person to 2 elected terms. ?
True. Bill has done his time as president, he may not become president through succession as a VP would. It would then be pointless to have Bill as VP.

If Bill had been Bush's VP, then he would have 8 possible years to be president plus two elected terms. Grand total of 10 possible years to be president. Al Gore comes to mind or Cheney.

FDR had served four terms up to 1945 then in 1947 the 22nd amendment was ratified.
';Though FDR's leadership was seen by many as a key reason that the U.S. came out of WWII victorious, the Congress was determined, once the war ended, to ensure that Washington's self-imposed two-term limit become the law of the land.';

I think Clinton could be VP but not take over the presidency in the event of the president's death or incapacity.
True, the 22nd amendment allows a President to hold only two terms of office either consecutively or spaced apart. I guess a one term President like H.W. Bush or Jimmy Carter could run as a VP candidate on a ticket but Bill Clinton couldn't.
The way your question is phrased, false. It limits a person to 2 elected terms as President. But it does prevent someone that has been elected President before to serve more than a two year term if that person were to act as President.
