That depends what you mean by the words ';race'; and ';asian';. In the broadest sense of the word, there is only one human race. We are all biologically parts of one species and physical differences that do exist are very ephemeral and minor.





In the more specific sense, different races do exist and Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, etc. are part of the Caucasoid race, like Europeans. Likewise, they speak Indo-European languages, which are related to English, Latin, etc. India, in ancient times, was part of a great civilization and its literature is the oldest recorded in any Indo-European language. However, the ancient Britons were a noble Celtic people. They may not have had a written literature, but does that mean that they were not civilized? well europeans (e.g me) are not the same race as asians, however in asia especially at the begining of the first civilisations, the tigeres and eurthraties (rivers) in turkey and iran and western iraq are considered by historiens to be the starting place of the first major civilisations. therefore they must of been slightly more civilised than the ';barbarian tribes'; which where in europe at the time. however this must be around 7000 or more years ago.
Actually we are all of the same race. The race of MAn. Hence the term Human race. We are of different cultures though.
