Probably. Considering what we pump into the rest of the UK and the natural resources we have, as well as extremely advanced growing industries like nano and bio technology and the fact we're too stupid to have claimed independence, it wouldn't surprise me.Is it true that Scotland is the third worst country in the world in terms of government subsidies,benefits,etc?
England must be the 2nd worst in the world then, as Scots get free prescriptions, personal care, and many more benefits funded by other parts of the UK!!
Do you not mean third best? We would probably be the best if we didn't have to subsidise England.
we pay enough in (oil and gas) to easily say we subsidise england and wales....i rest my case.
