Around 1, 975 years ago, yes.Jesus died around 2,000 years ago. In 21st century terms, is that true or false?
True
The first-century Jewish historian Josephus referred to the stoning of “James, the brother of Jesus who was called the Christ.” (The Jewish Antiquities, Josephus, Book XX, sec. 200) A direct and very favorable reference to Jesus, found in Book XVIII, sections 63, 64, has been challenged by some who claim that it must have been either added later or embellished by Christians; but it is acknowledged that the vocabulary and the style are basically those of Josephus, and the passage is found in all available manuscripts.

Tacitus, a Roman historian who lived during the latter part of the first century C.E., wrote: “Christus [Latin for “Christ”], from whom the name [Christian] had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus.”—The Complete Works of Tacitus (New York, 1942), “The Annals,” Book 15, par. 44.

With reference to early non-Christian historical references to Jesus, The New Encyclopædia Britannica states: “These independent accounts prove that in ancient times even the opponents of Christianity never doubted the historicity of Jesus, which was disputed for the first time and on inadequate grounds by several authors at the end of the 18th, during the 19th, and at the beginning of the 20th centuries.”—(1976), Macropædia, Vol. 10, p. 145.
Jesus died around 2000 years ago and was arise thre days after Hid died.... Whenever,...21 century,...22 century... always TRUE...
He died, then he rose from the dead, and sits at the right hand of God.
Jesus was resurrected around 2,000 yrs ago.
Yes and now He lives again and forever!!
but He was raised from the dead three days later.
false
whos to say he existed in the first place
yes but he didn't rise again
Yeah, so
Thats true because 0 AD to 99 AD couldn't be called the zero century and it was truly the ';1st'; century. So 100 AD to 199 AD was the 2nd and so on till you get to 2000 AD to 2099 AD which is the 21st century.
Maybe the Jesus you are referring to never lived.
Jesus died in 33 A.D., 1975 years ago. He died for 3 days and rose again!
He was born between 7 and 2 BCE and died between 26 and 36 CE.

You know. There are more proof that Jesus lived than that Alexander the great of Macedon did.

Alexander only has a few historians referring to him, the closest to him chronologically lived a few hundred years after him. The others are believed to be based on the first.

Jesus on the other hand are mentioned in roman bureaucratic texts from around year 20-40 AD. I'm not exactly sure when, and my history teacher says there are more proofs. Will have to look them up.

BUT his mere existence doesn't make him the son of God. However, it appears that he'd be a very charismatic leader of a Jewish cult.
