Why do most women act like the terms ';sexist'; and ';true'; are mutually exclusive?

I have repeatedly seen on here and heard otherwise the objection that a comment is sexist against women, as that is somehow supposed to nullify what was said before it. Why do most women feel that just b/c something is said that truthfully paints the majority of them in a negative light or otherwise makes them feel bad, that it is untrue?Why do most women act like the terms ';sexist'; and ';true'; are mutually exclusive?
They don't think too much before they speak (or type). Yes, it is true many things can be sexist and true at the same time. But some have trained themselves to instantly retort ';that's sexist!'; any time someone says something highlighting any gender difference. Usually they are only like this in high school. In their 20s it moves to ignoring the statement and coming up with a different issue. In their 30s all you get is a blood curdling glare. Then in their 40s...they finally get that men and women ARE different.Why do most women act like the terms ';sexist'; and ';true'; are mutually exclusive?
It really depends on what the statement is. If you said ';women in general are not as smart as men'; I would say you are sexist, because research has shown there is no difference between their and intelligence levels. If you said ';most women still prefer to date successful and wealthy men'; I would say that it is a very negative statement about women, but it is true.
It's human nature to deny things which although true, have a negative impact on one's self-esteem. Women aren't only guilty of this.

Americans rationalize the Native-American genocides, Turks rationalize the Armenian genocide, johns rationalize going to hookers, drug addicts rationalize their drug use, etc, etc, etc.
Hi, I'm not a feminist.

But I think the feminists who do what you just described are so caught up in making everything ';equal,'; and then shoving it down your throat, that they forget the fact that it is our DIFFERENCES that make us who we are. And our differences should be celebrated, not blotted over so we can all be ';equal.';

To feminists, equal = the SAME in every way. When clearly, women and men are different.
the one who mostly oppose to it are normally guilty negative comments or not for all women and if you know these things do not apply to you than why worry about it. Some have low self esteem!
