What is the origin of the term ';true love';?

We all have an some idea of what the term signifies - despite the fact that we all have our own definitions. But what I'm wondering is where did the term originate. Who was the first to refer to what we now know as ';true love'; in that way, with those words? What is the origin of the term ';true love';?
Etymonline http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?sear鈥?/a> says only: True-love (adj.) is recorded from 1495 but not where.

The Danish language has the word ';trolovet'; which means ';engaged to be married';.
