In true communism, there are no officials (elected or otherwise).





Communism was supposed to be when all the workers had finally gotten rid of the oppressive bourgoisie (business owners/government leaders who support the b. owner) and had learned to work to the best of their ability and share all resources. They didn't need officials because they would all be fed and sheltered and clothed; so no one was needed to regulate anything. And in fact, officials were to be avoided so that no one would ';taste'; power and try to become a new ruling class.








What the Soviet Union had, and China and Cuba and so on have now, is not Communism. They may call it that, but it is not Communism. Its Facism, which stemmed from the violent Socialism.





We have never seen a Communist government on Earth. We never will, there will always be at least one person who will always have greed and a lust for power, and probably more than just that one person. Yes the presidency is run that way with delegates, super delegates, super duper delegates, flying butt monkeys,etc. they give you a choice of the two they picked and then if you vote wrong they use the flying butt monkeys,etc. to put in who they want. If that doesn't work the supreme court does it! How do you think Bush got in?
Yes you can vote, but only one person is on the ballot, chosen by the communist party.





It's a lot like the Michigan Democratic party primary, where Hillary won and was the only person on the ballot!
